As of today, the law has changed for large businesses. The rules have come about as part of an effort to help us make healthier choices when we are eating out. Menus & food-labels will be required to to display calorie information on physical menus, online menus, labels & food delivery platforms.

This change only affects the largest businesses, defined as those with over 250 or more employees. Of course, if youa are a smaller business you can also implement these new changes but aren’t required to. This new ruling forms part of the government’s plan to tackle the growing obesity problem in the UK that is estimated to cost the NHS £6.1 billion each year.
